Who? (
Summary
Chainsaw Man stares as the decapitated head of the Fake Chainsaw Man and can’t seem to recognize him. Disappointed, the Fire Devil holds out their hand and the fire in their palm starts to tell a story; once there was a pair of kindhearted twins that encounter the Fire Devil and took them in. As they were nursed back to health, the twins told them about Chainsaw Man and how he demonstrates that even a devil can serve as a force of good. Swayed by this, the Fire Devil began their Justice Devil impersonation and began granting the power for one to change their form into an embodiment of their justice. The two twins, inspired by Chainsaw Man, began to save people as Fake Chainsaw Men, until the younger of the twins was held hostage by the Cockroach Devil and was allowed to die by Denji just so he could save a cat.
Vindictive, the Fire Devil asks Denji if he remembers the older twin’s face now, but he doesn’t give a response. They talk about how the twin brother felt betrayed and vowed to take revenge and Denji has the audacity to not even remember him, but it makes sense seeing as he is still a devil after all. He asks the Fire Devil if they want him to apologize since he doesn’t entirely understand what he did wrong but they instead want to force another choice onto him. Before they can list out their options, a skyscraper crashes down next to them, seemingly causing the Fire Devil to vanish. Buried in the rubble is Yoru who is insisting that she isn’t losing even though her and Denji both know that to be a lie. She then asks him if he wants to save her and he agrees, causing him to turn and face the Falling Devil.
