Sharknado (シャークネード, Shākunēdo^?) is the 50th chapter of the Chainsaw Man manga series.

Summary

As the combined strength of the explosions and typhoon sends the others flying back, Violence Fiend comments that they can do nothing but watch the struggle between Denji, Beam, Reze and the Typhoon Devil.

Moving in, Denji is able to slice off Reze's leg. The Typhoon Devil gives her blood, healing her. Both Denji and Reze express excitement as to the insanity of the conflict. As the flurry continues, Angel Devil is blasted back. Aki grabs his shirt; however, he begins to lose his grip on the signpost he is clutching. Angel Devil calls out for him, telling him to let go, as he has already accepted death. As Aki loses his grip on Angel Devil's shirt, Angel Devil closes his eyes and thinks of a Young Woman from his past. Suddenly, Aki grabs Angel Devil's hand and pulls him back to safety. Angel Devil angrily asks why Aki grabbed his hand, as doing so cost him 2 months of his life span. Aki responds that if Angel Devil were to die, he'd rather it were done at a distance, as he has "Had Enough Of Watching People Die In Front Of My Eyes".

Back in the conflict, Denji is able to easily slice the Typhoon Devil to shreds. Losing sight of Reze, she attacks the pair from above, blasting Denji and Beam into the ground. Denji then crawls out of a semi-conscious Beam's mouth, revealing that Beam took the brunt of the blast. As Reze and Denji face one another on a rooftop, she playfully asks him to give up. He responds "Don't Wanna".

Trivia

• The chapter's name is a reference to the infamous made-for-television movie series Sharknado, which features a typhoon made out of sharks and is known for its small budget and amateurism.
• The panel where Denji rides Beam in the storm is a reference to Berserk chapter 277 where Guts rides Nosferatu Zodd in the exact same manner.
