Jane Fell Asleep in the Church (ジェーンは
Summary
Alone, Denji inquires to Pochita, informing him that he now like two women. Multiple people run through Denji's mind, before eventually landing on Makima and Reze, quietly asking Pochita who he would choose.
Meanwhile, Reze is chased outside by the scarred man and onto a rooftop. She asks who he is, but he merely responds that she is the "cheese" to act as bait for Denji. He informs her of his plans to peel her face and gouge out her eyes, culminating in torturing and controlling Denji. As he lunges at her, she swiftly dodges his attack, swings onto his back, and begins choking him out with little effort. As he slowly dies, she sings a lullaby in Russian.
Standing up, Reze calmly looks down at the Typhoon Devil in a nearby drain. The Devil apologizes to her, calling her "Ms. Reze", as she promises to "overlook" its accidents in return for removing the scarred man's corpse. Swiftly, she returns to Denji, with a smile on her face.
The next day, the two hang out at the festival. In the evening, they climb atop a hill to view the fireworks. Turning to him, Reze asks him to quit Devil Hunting and run away with her, promising to "make [him] happy" and "protect [him]".
